What the AI checks

Endotracheal tube

Confirms midline placement. Verifies tip is below the clavicle and above the carina — the bifurcation point of the trachea into the bronchi.

NG / OG tubes

Ensures the tube terminates below the diaphragm in the intra-abdominal cavity, confirming gastric position before feeding begins.

Central venous catheters

Tracks access through the internal jugular or subclavian vein and confirms the tip terminates at the cavoatrial junction near the heart.

Umbilical catheters (UAC / UVC)

Critical in neonatal care. Verifies UAC and UVC positioning relative to key vascular landmarks to prevent vascular injury in newborns.
