Pediatric Radiology AI

The first explainable AI second opinion for pediatrics

Specialized AI trained exclusively on pediatric imaging data, built to support radiologists with transparent, step-by-step decision making for thoracic diseases and device localization.

The problem

Pediatric radiology is critically underserved

There are 41,000 radiologists in the US, but only 0.5% specialize in pediatrics. General radiologists cover the gap — but with serious consequences for accuracy and speed.

1 specialist per 100,000 children

Just 2,032 pediatric radiologists serve over 70 million children in the US. With 30–50 million pediatric imaging scans performed annually, the shortage creates chronic burnout and diagnostic gaps.

Black-box AI that clinicians don't trust

Existing AI tools provide conclusions without explanations. Hospital executives told us directly: clinicians won't adopt AI they can't understand. Trust requires transparency.

Children are not small adults

Pediatric anatomy, physiology, and disease patterns differ fundamentally. Adult-trained AI fails to generalize to young patients — yet 97% of FDA-approved radiology AI uses no pediatric data.

Our solution

AI Imaging Simplified

A suite of AI tools built from the ground up for pediatric imaging — starting with thoracic disease detection and support device localization. Every output comes with a step-by-step visual explanation.

Explainable by design

Every finding is backed by anatomical landmarks from the patient database. Clinicians see the reasoning, not just the result, reducing time-to-trust dramatically.

Pediatric-only training data

Our models are trained exclusively on pediatric imaging. Unlike general AI repurposed for children, our system understands the actual physiology and disease patterns it's diagnosing.

Precision medicine mode

Adapts to your hospital's specific imaging hardware and protocols, eliminating the bias that generic, one-size-fits-all AI systems introduce into every read.

AIS Chest & AIS Tool

Two products in development — thoracic disease detection and support device localization. Both pediatric-first, both fully explainable.
